Colubrid and Colubroid Radio's very own 501(c)3 non-profit, dedicated to reptile conservation. This fund was created so that the co-hosts of CCR, along with your help, can directly impact many conservation efforts in a three prong approach.
By funding field research of various reptile species, we can help move the federal/state classifications to ensure proper habitat protections for endagered reptiles. For many of these studies, a little funding goes a very long way. CCR Conservation Corp is in a position to find these studies and make contributions that really make a difference!
Through college scholarships and grants, CCR can help shape and encourage future conservationists. The more people that care and are actively pushing to protect the reptiles we love, the bigger difference we can make! The best way to make a better future is to invest in those that will be the future.
CCR's long term dream is to be able to purchase and create wildlife refuges in various areas of the country. While it would be wonderful to have 100s of acres purchased at a time, even 10 acres here and there can make a difference. This can be done in many areas of the country to help so many species. A percentage of all CCR Conservation donations will be retained in the fund to reach a set goal to ensure this dream can one day come to fruition.
