Friday- Vendor Set Up and Mixer
With Colubridfest being a national event, there are attendees from all over the country, so many of which are online friends who get to meet for the first time. With that in mind, Friday is the kickoff. Micky, Zac, and Clint speak and set the tone for the entire weekend. Afterwards, everyone there can have a drink and share in fantastic conversation. Now this must sound a little nerve racking to an introvert, but here's the great thing... you are literally in a room of people who love the same thing you do and are just as excited as you are to talk about it!

Saturday- Educational Presentations and Panel Discussions
Lectures can be boring. Talks can put you to sleep, even when the information is important to you. Zac with his many years as a professor and Clint with his many years in corporate meetings, both know this all too well. With this in mind, the educational presentations are designed differently at Colubridfest. Presenters give their talk and share their information for about 20-30 minutes. After this, "the podcast" kicks in.
What we mean by this is Clint and Zac then begin asking questions in the same style as a CCR show. But that is just to kick start the questions. The audience is encouraged to ask questions, to share other ideas on the topic, and full room engagement then ensues!
Saturday Night- Auction
On Saturday evening, a charitable auction takes place. All proceeds (unless otherwise specified) go to the CCR Conservation Fund, the non-profit created by the CCR Hosts. This fund allows Clint and Zac to assist in funding colubrid conservations studies and efforts across the globe, especially those that wouldn't necessarily have access to the same grants/assistance as others. With the CCR hosts in control of where the money goes, the listeners are able to be regularly updated on exactly how the money is being put to use!
The Sunday Show!
The Sunday show is a COLUBRID ONLY SHOW. Products, accessories, feeders, and other reptile related items are permitted but the only reptiles for sale (other than feeders) are colubrid and colubroid snakes. This sets the show apart from any other show in the country and is why it is such a draw for colubrid breeders and keepers from all over the US and beyond.

You will not only see species you never see anywhere else, you will see more of the rare species in one place than ever before. The animals and breeders you only ever see online, right there in front of you. When you are at a show, how many tables do you walk past without stopping? You can't do that with a single table at Colubridfest!
